Kick off the spring fishing season in Clinton County with the highly anticipated two-day crappie tournament May 2nd and 3rd at Carlyle Lake. This lake, known for its abundance of crappie, provides the ideal setting for anglers to test their skills in pursuit of these prized panfish. The Crank from the Bank Crappie Tournament is set against the backdrop of blooming trees and crisp spring air, attracting both amateur and professional anglers from across the region. Competitors are challenged to catch the heaviest and most impressive crappie, with top-notch prizes awaiting the winners. The entry fee is $50 per participant with a 100% payout. Prizes will be awarded to one person for every 5 entries. Contestants can weigh in up to 5 live fish. Fishing hours are from 7:00 AM to 11:30 AM, and participants must be in the weigh-in line by 12:30 PM.
