As all good witches know, Halloween isn’t just for kids! Here in Clinton County, there’s something for all ages, with spooky sites, fun frights and a whole lot of good times.
If you hear screams and eeks coming from the Little Prairie Nature Trail, not to worry, it’s just the participants on Carlyle Lake’s Haunted Trail! This favorite Halloween excursion puts guests in a truck-drawn, hay-filled wagon and takes them on a spooky trail filled with haunted spots, scary sounds and eerie objects.

Not to be outdone, the Trenton Sportsman’s Club offers two ghoulish weekends with its annual Haunted Trail. The well-planned path features ghosts, goblins, and other hair-raising sites. Food and drinks will be available.

Get your costumes ready and head to Centralia on October 27 to join the Halloween Parade. All ages are welcome to dress up and walk, and there will be costume judging prior to the parade. It’s all part of the Annual Fall Festival in downtown, featuring a craft fair and flea market, children’s games and activities, a chili cook-off, car show, and live entertainment. A full day of fun!
