From goblins to good food and wine, you’ll find lots of fun happening at the wineries here in Clinton County, Illinois. Stop by for a tasting, or better yet enjoy one of the following fall activities.

Dress up in your scariest outfit and head out to Roundhouse Wine Company for Witches & Warlocks Ball Costume Party. The early Halloween celebration will include music, a costume contest, and wine, of course!

Hidden Lake Winery & Banquet Center is party central this fall with two seasonal events. The 6th annual Oktoberfest will feature German food, beer, wine, and live music provided by George Portz and his Friends of Bluegrass band. Two weeks later, Hidden Lake hosts their Harvest Festival, with wine, beer, craft vendors, and music by Black Top Boulevard. Cover price includes a wine glass and tokens for wine and beer tastings.

Any time this fall is a good time to visit one of our County’s two other wineries. Enjoy their beautiful country settings and taste samples of their wines.
Twin Oaks Vineyard’s tasting room is open every weekend for tastings of their six delightful varietals. Head out to Crooked Creek Winery, a former horse farm (the owners still have horses) and enjoy sipping the popular Barn Dance red or one of the other four wines.
