We’re proud of the beauty and character here in Clinton County, Illinois, and to showcase it we are sponsoring our first-ever Clinton County Photo Contest. If you’re an amateur photographer, grab your camera or smartphone and give us your best shot!

Throughout the year, we’ll use these contest photos on our tourism and county websites, as well as for promotional materials. To be eligible, submitted images must be taken in Clinton County, Illinois, and fit into one of the following three categories.
• Places and Recreation: parks and lakes, bed and breakfast, wineries, lodges, cabins, golfing, swinging bridge, sailing, streetscapes, and camping
• Agriculture and Farming: farm scenery, fields, barns, wagons, tractors, orchards, and livestock
• Nature: wildlife, flowers and flora, gardens, hunting, fishing, woodlands, and landscapes
Three winners will be chosen in each of the categories, as well as best of show and honorable mention; each will be recognized with a certificate and have their photos printed and prominently displayed in either the courthouse or a county building.
Photos must be submitted between now and September 30, 2017, though they do not have to be taken during this time period.
