One of these nice fall days, grab a friend and plan a day poking around a few of the antique stores and resale shops in Clinton County. You’ll uncover a wealth of wonderful items—and if you’re a collector, may find another gem to add to your stash.
You can get lost for hours at the Ten Pin Antique Mall in Carlyle. Housed in a former bowling alley—the inspiration for its name—the space is divided into stalls of different vendors with a dizzying array of items. You’ll see antiques, refurbished items, collectibles and crafts of all kinds, including furniture, decorating and kitchen items, Americana memorabilia and so much more. Dealers are always moving or adding to their merchandise, which makes every shopping trip here interesting. And just in time for the holidays, the many dealers have brought in seasonal decorating and gift items, such as cute antique toys and ceramic snowmen.
